The Appeal
The Lincoln Continental Coupe Club V12 is one of the most elegant American luxury cars of its era, renowned for its clean, unadorned styling and gargantuan V12 powerplant. This 1948 Continental represents the final evolution of the first-generation Continental, which was so aesthetically significant that an example is displayed at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
This dark green example has been in the current owner's possession for a decade, during which time it has been garage-kept and maintained with recent mechanical attention, including an oil service for the engine, gearbox, and differential, as well as complete lubrication. Largely original with only an electric fuel pump and radial tyres as deviations from factory specification, this Continental offers a genuine slice of American automotive history.
