The Appeal

The RMF was the last of a very particular type of post-war Riley cars. Blending traditional pre-war styling with an opulent leather and wood interior, beneath the hood was the firm’s ‘big four’ 2.5litre, For many the 1,000 or so RMFs built are the final ‘real Rileys.’ 
This car was one of the last to leave the works and is surely amongst the best of those remaining. Finished in fetching cream, it is an older restoration that exhibits light but characterful patina across the interior and exterior. 
It has had a fascinating and well documented history, including time in Norway and Sweden - it was named Best in Show at an event in Sweden - with plenty of recent maintenance by a well regarded marque specialist. The buyer benefits from that work and will also receive a large quantity of spares too. 
This car’s colour scheme makes it perfect for private use or more commercial pursuits. Whatever future awaits, we wish this lovely Riley well on the next stage of its long life. 

History and Paperwork

  • Registered in the UK on 29th September 1953
  • Six recorded UK keepers
