The Appeal
The Ariel KH500 Fieldmaster is a well-regarded British twin from the mid-1950s, valued for its robust four stroke 498cc engine and rewarding riding character. The KH offered a practical yet spirited ride and remains a popular machine among classic British motorcycle enthusiasts.
This 1954 example was restored by its previous owner, with the work supported by a collection of parts receipts and photographs documenting the machine's pre-restoration state. The current vendor acquired the bike, had it imported and French-registered, and for a time displayed it indoors before placing it in dry storage. It was recommissioned approximately six months ago and road tested, and is now offered for sale simply because the vendor has too many projects on the go
