THE APPEAL

The popular and enduring Mini is undoubtedly a British cultural icon and optimises the swinging-sixties, offers revolutionary cabin space, go-kart-like handling and simple to maintain mechanicals.
This particular Austin Seven Mini has been treated to a comprehensive restoration over the last three years. Started by the previous registered keeper and owner of J.W. Motors, Oxford, the current owner, and knowledgeable Austin enthusiast, then completed the project with further cosmetic and mechanical improvements during 2022.
New body panels and parts were purchased from specialists such as Old Skool Minis and British Motor Heritage approved suppliers Bull Motif Spares Limited.
With it’s peppy BMC A-Series, this MK1 is noted as having an 848 cc, but judging by it’s performance, the owner’s mechanic suggests it could be a 998 cc, although we don’t have evidence of this.
Having been lovingly rejuvenated, this pretty little, original specification MK1, is a very tidy example and is ready to enjoy…
