The Appeal
Italy’s list of culinary and aesthetic gifts to the world is extensive, but the Fiat 500 is surely very close to the top of it. More characterful than virtually anything else on four wheels, it’s so influential that a whole range of modern Fiats is based around the original design.
This pretty 1967 500F arrived in the UK earlier this year. It is one of the earlier desirable ‘oval dial’ models finished in fetching white with a black vinyl interior. We’re told that it was restored in Rome in 2015, which likely explains why it presents so well in the photos.
The vendor tells us that since arriving in the UK it has received new whitewall tyres all round, plus a picnic basket to adorn the rear. It looks like a really tidy example of these style icons.
The vendor says:
"Absolute pleasure to drive and turns heads everywhere it does."
