The Appeal
The 420 is something of an unsung hero from Jaguar’s illustrious back catalogue. A closer relative of the S-Type than the Mark X/420 G than its looks would suggest, this model was added to the range in 1966 as a more powerful, more luxurious variant of the Mark II’s replacement.
Offered in very good condition, this 1967 Jaguar 420 is surely one of the smartest examples of the model you’re likely to come across. Resplendent in a very fetching hue of metallic pale blue, offset with beautiful chromework, this car really looks the part and has clearly been very well-kept over the years.
The 420 belonged to the vendor’s late husband, who clearly loved the car dearly. It has been kept dry-stored and is in superb condition for its age.
