The Appeal

The Sprite Mk IV is the final evolution of the much-loved "Spridget" line, pairing the lightweight agility and open-top charm of its predecessors with the more capable 1,275cc A-Series engine and a four-speed manual gearbox. These diminutive roadsters remain incredibly popular; one of the much-praised final bastions of the British Motor Corporation. 
This 1968 example comes with a certificate of authenticity confirming its origins from the Warwick factory. The bodywork benefited from a full restoration in the early 1990s, supported by photographic evidence, and the vendor reports the paintwork still presents well with strong, solid bodywork.

Purchased in March 2026 from a friend, the current owner has carried out a thorough programme of mechanical work to bring the car to a roadworthy standard, covering the braking system, clutch hydraulics, ignition components, and exhaust. The vendor states the car runs, drives and stops as it should, and that it's an utter joy on the road.
