The Appeal
The Bonneville name has been applied to a succession of Triumph's flagship bikes ever since the first T120 rocked the bike market back in the 1950s. To bike fans, the T120R needs little introduction. With its 650cc parallel twin and four-speed gearbox, it is widely regarded as one of the finest British motorcycles of its era, a machine that defined a generation of riders on both sides of the Atlantic.
Our bike is reported to be entirely factory standard, with no modifications, preserving the character and originality that collectors prize so highly. Won by the current owner in November 2024 and stored in their workshop since, it shows just 798 km on the odometer. Genuine Girling rear shock absorbers have been fitted, and the fuel pipes have been replaced. The vendor states that all instruments and switchgear function correctly, and that the bike starts and runs well.
The vendor describes the bike as being in very good condition and an ideal candidate for both riding and showing.
