The Appeal
Fiat's small city car changed the world. This compact, austere small car was economical, manoeuvrable and well suited to Italy's fast-growing economy, quickly becoming an icon of everyday life. Almost four million cars later, it continues to enchant generation after generation of enthusiasts.
This particular example underwent a respectful restoration, completed in 2006, preserving much of its original character and ensuring its smooth running. With only three owners since purchase (with the second owner belonging to the same family as the first), this 500 has enjoyed a quiet life, which is truly reflected in its condition.
The seller claims that the car has covered less than 6,000 km since its restoration and the very good tolerances of the door gaps suggest that the bodywork has never been cut or significantly modified - a rarity for any 500!
