The Appeal

Throughout the MGB’s long and illustrious life, the cars virtually sold themselves, thanks in part to all the qualities that continue to make them so sought-after. But in 1966, with the launch of the MGC, the firm felt the new car needed a little nudge along its showroom journey.
The result was the Sebring GTS, a short-lived racing version of the GT coupe with a particularly evocative, wide-arched stance. Only a handful of factory cars were built but they cast a long shadow – Sebring evocations are amongst the most desirable and distinctive modifications of the svelte original car.
This gorgeous car comes to us fresh from a comprehensive evolution into a Sebring replica during 2023. Alongside the cosmetic makeover the engine has received a partial rebuild and the interior refreshed with new seats and carpets. Equipped with a 12-month MOT – with no advisories – this is a rare chance to acquire a great, stand-out classic where someone else has done all the hard work.
