The Appeal
The Morgan 4/4 enjoyed an immensely long production run of some 82 years from 1936 to 2018. As the saying goes, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" - and indeed there really was little that needed changing when it came to the brilliant design of the 4/4, A narrow-bodied driver's car that Morgan themselves describe as "unapologetically analogue", 4/4s of any age are delightful to drive, making them a car you should certainly consider adding to your collection.
This 1970 example was acquired by the vendor's late father in 2007 and the following year he embarked on an epic road trip around Spain, Portugal, Andorra, and France. This particular car stands out with its rare four-seater configuration, making it a great find for enthusiasts seeking additional passenger or luggage space. The vibrant yellow exterior, professionally resprayed about 10-15 years ago, adds a cheerful touch to its classic lines.
Although it has been off the road and SORN since 2017, the car remains in good condition, benefitting from dry storage. Now it's time for a new custodian to carry out the necessary recommissioning and head back out on the road.
