Cherished by just two former registered keepers within one family
Engine reportedly starts despite an extended period in storage
Stored under cover in a garage for over five years
No record of total loss or major structural issues
The Appeal
The Triumph Tiger 650 is one of the most celebrated British parallel twins ever produced, a machine that helped define an era of motorcycling and one that continues to command a loyal following among enthusiasts. The 1971 model is one of the later examples of this lauded lineage.
Our Tiger has enjoyed a sheltered life within one family. Originally belonging to the seller's father-in-law, who is said to have loved riding it, the machine was subsequently passed down through his will to the current keeper. Although it has been in covered storage for over five years, the current keeper, having been unable to maintain it as he would have liked due to ill health, says the engine starts without issue. With 39,000 miles recorded, this Tiger offers a new custodian the chance to recommission a classic British machine.image.png1.43 MB
