The Appeal

With the advent of the TR6 in January 1969 came a meaningful step up in handling stability and drivability. The styling was also markedly different, designed by Karmann of Germany in stark contrast to its Michelotti-penned predecessors. The model's appeal among enthusiasts endures to this day.

This 1971 example has benefited from considerable recent attention, both mechanical and cosmetic. Most notably, it now runs a trio of Weber carbs in place of the famously finicky Lucas injection system. The vendor describes the exterior as being in great condition following the respray, while the cabin is reported to be in good order for a car of over 50 years of age, with all instruments functioning as they should.
