The charm
Admired and collected the world over for its eye-catching lines and liveliness, which made it the undisputed queen of Italy's most winding roads, the 500 is the embodiment of the Italian love of fun, practical and ingenious cars.
Launched in 1965, the 500 F represented a major evolutionary step for the little Fiat, having introduced front-opening doors, a new, larger windscreen and a more powerful engine. At the same time, the F retained some of the best-loved features of the first series, such as the attractive metal dashboard.
This very special 500 F, produced a few months before this model was replaced by the 500 R with the new Fiat 126 engine, was completely restored both inside and out. The mechanics also received attention and the engine was overhauled in every detail, using only original components.
In addition to the engine work, the car received a new clutch and pressure plate and a Giannini-style exhaust.
The bodywork was sandblasted and repainted, and the floors and front and rear mudguards were replaced.
In the passenger compartment, all upholstery has been replaced with original parts. The recent car radio with Bluetooth uses vintage Pioneer speakers.
This 500 comes with the original black number plates and up-to-date original Italian papers, and the seller assures us that it is in excellent condition and needs no further work.

- If your maximum bid is equal to or below the reserve price, your maximum bid will be applied in full if you are the highest bidder.
- If you are the highest bidder and place a maximum bid above the reserve, we will automatically put in the reserve as your first bid.
