The Appeal

If there was any such thing as a keystone for the classic car world, the MGB is almost certainly Britain's entrant. These sports cars are a truly beloved, instantly recognisable classic - with uncluttered lines, perky performance and plenty of support ensuring that these timeless roadsters will always have an audience.

This particular example stands out due to its comprehensive restoration, which was meticulously carried out between 1987 and 1990. The restoration included a complete stripdown to the bare monocoque and a structural rebuild, and it still appears to us in fine fettle, having been barely used since restoration was completed.

What makes this MGB Roadster truly special is the upgraded 1,900 cc engine, featuring high lift cams and a K&N filter, providing an enhanced driving experience. With only 2,600 miles since the restoration, this car has been sparingly used and well cared for, always kept in a dry garage. The recent maintenance by an MG specialist in 2023 further ensures that this classic is in fine fettle and ready for its next adventure.
