The charm

Its rare special versions are particularly sought-after and have played a major role in the development and transformation of Italy.
Built by Autobianchi from 1968 to 1977, the small but very practical Giardiniera station wagon was based on the pleasant Fiat 500 Giardiniera from which it differed in certain details, such as the opening rear windows and the black air intakes on the rear pillars, and retained the distinctive hinged rear doors of the early Fiat 500 and the large and practical side-hinged tailgate.
This particular 1974 Giardiniera is in excellent condition, having just received a full professional restoration that included a complete repaint in brilliant Coral Red and an overhaul of the engine and mechanicals.
Inside, the restored interior features the pleasant old-style dashboard of the 500 F and R with a single large round Veglia Borletti indicator in excellent condition, simple and pleasant original seats and practical and durable full rubber carpeting.
With only three attentive and enthusiastic owners since it was born and still bearing the owners' numbers, this Giardiniera is in excellent condition and is ready to become a faithful and versatile travelling companion for an enthusiast who wants to relive the unforgettable atmospheres of 1960s and 1970s Italy.

It comes with its valid Italian registration document 'Libretto di circolazione' and newly renewed MOT certificate.
