The Appeal
The Land Rover Series III represents the refined evolution of the iconic British utility vehicle, combining the rugged simplicity of earlier models with improved comfort and usability. This was to be the last of the leaf-sprung so-called 'Series' Land Rovers, and therefore some might say also the last with direct links to the original concept that emerged in 1948.
This 1975 short-wheelbase example in classic Deep Bronze Green with a Limestone roof has undergone a meticulous strip-down and comprehensive rebuild. The current owner has invested significantly in mechanical and cosmetic restoration, replacing numerous components with new parts and ensuring this Series III is ready for its next adventure. With its galvanised chassis, rebuilt engine, and refreshed bodywork, this represents a thoroughly sorted example of a true British classic.
