Introduced in 1975, the Honda CB400F was a motorcycle of refinement. Its inline-four engine offered impressive levels of comfort and a smooth ride for anybody who took on the '400 four' and, while it didn't succeed in toppling the likes of Kawasaki, it certainly proved to be a 'thinking man's motorcycle'. Its sporty looks and clean lines defied the economic, beautifully balanced mechanics that this rather special mount soon became synonymous with.
This particular example has been transformed into a cafe racer by a previous owner - and if the 400F was already a fabulous looker, this bike takes it to the next level, with stripped back, speed-optimised looks that captures the golden age of sporting bikes.
The resultant, customised CB400F has been well-maintained and cared for by its current owner, who has invested around £1,000 in recent months.
