The Appeal

The limousine of choice for high ranking officials the length and breadth of Britain, the Daimler DS420 is perhaps one of the most recognisable limos of all time, a familiar sight on all of the expensive bits of the monopoly board for an impressively lengthy amount of time thanks to its extensive production run.

The Daimler was unrivalled and found favour with many members of the Royal family and members of government thanks to its unparalleled quality, ride comfort and amenities. In the present day, many Daimler Limousines have found fortune being used as private hire chauffeur or wedding cars and the example we have here has been conquering that field since 2001.

Well presented both mechanically and aesthetically, in a more unusual deep blue colour scheme, this 1978 Daimler is a bold, high quality example of the model, and one that would lend itself well to continued use in the wedding or funeral car field or to be put into preservation as part of a private collection.
