The appeal

The Peugeot 504 is one of the great French saloons. It was lauded around the world for its comfort, durability and elegant lines penned by Pininfarina. The GL trim offered well-appointed equipment, and this 1978 example, finished in Ivory White with its original sunroof and chocolate brown cloth interior, presents a particularly appealing combination.

This 504 GL had only one owner before being acquired by the current seller in May 2021, when the odometer read 135,340 km. It comes with a historic file covering the period during which it belonged to its two successive owners. According to the seller, it has received regular maintenance since being acquired. Some cosmetic imperfections are noted but, overall, this 504 GL presents itself as a well-maintained example of the celebrated Peugeot saloon.
