The Attractions

One of the most famous Triumph cars of all time, the Spitfire is compact, agile and - above all - extremely fun to drive. Designed by the legendary Giovanni Michelotti, the Spitfire used the excellent mechanics of the Herald and the standard SC engine. Although the suspension came in for some criticism, it was redesigned in the 1970s - making the later cars more enjoyable to drive.

This particular example is one of the later ones. It has been carefully maintained by a single family since 1979 and is beautifully presented in a colour combination of blue and beige. If you are looking for a high-quality example of a classic British sports car, we have no doubt that this convertible is an excellent opportunity.
