The Appeal
The big V8-engined R107s were really meant for Americans, where their rumbling, effortless powerful made mincemeat of long freeway runs. But a few stayed in Europe, even fewer arriving in the UK in RHD form like this car.
Presented in eye-catching red with a retrimmed cream leather cabin, it is a presentable and very usable example of the increasingly popular pre-facelift R107. It was originally registered in 1979 and arrived in the UK in 2004, passing through just six keepers in that time.
The photographs show a tidy, shiny and well kept example with solid underside and useful matching hard top. There are a few minor points to note but the usual R107 visual checks come up positive, meaning this MOT and tax-exempt example looks good to go.
