It's highly original, unrestored, and has been regularly serviced by the proud owner. It's now ready and waiting to hit the road with its lucky new keeper.

- Unrestored and rock solid, this Karmann cabriolet is in fine fettle
- Some light wear to the paintwork with some chips, paint loss and scratches here and there
- Light patina to the brightwork
- Carrying Empi alloy wheels - originals are included in the sale
- Underside is solid, with light areas of surface corrosion
- Soft top carries a tiny hole on each side
- Highly original cabin with wood fascias and leather upholstery
- Some areas of corrosion and paint loss on the inner doors, though nothing perforating
- Seats are free of any rips and tears
- Dashboard looks in very good order
- We understand everything to be in good working order
- Floors appear solid
The Mechanics
- 1,600cc fuel-injected flat-4
- Manual transmission with 4 gears
- Engine bay looks in good order with age-commensurate discolouration
- We understand the car to be in good running order with no significant faults
- Recently fitted with a new fuel pump

✓ We also check whether vehicles are recorded as being written off as part of an insurance total loss claim at the time an advert is placed on Car & Classic and we helpfully provide write-off category labels (Cat C/D/S/N) for your assistance.
