The Datsun 280C Estate in seven-seater configuration is an extraordinarily rare machine. Powered by a smooth 2.8-litre inline-six and generously equipped from the factory, it offered a compelling alternative to European rivals in the early 1980s. Finding any surviving example today would be noteworthy; this one, according to the vendor's study of DVLA records, is the only Datsun 280C seven-seater Estate currently on the road in the UK.

Retaining its factory-standard specification, this 280C has been in the current owner's possession for nearly five years, during which time it has been predominantly stored in climate-controlled conditions. Recent work has been carried out underneath the vehicle, and the vendor reports that it continues to run very well. For those seeking a genuinely rare Japanese estate from this era, this appears to be a notable survivor.
