The Appeal
The TR7 was introduced with the intentions of being revolutionary. It was far removed from its predecessor, and amongst the boldest, most futurist designs that the company had ever built. Wedge-shaped styling, pop-up headlights - this was a car that looked fast while standing still, and while some traditions remained - it still had that familiar Triumph four-pot under the bonnet - it was a car ripe for modification, and by the 1990s a host of conversions were available to match its V8-powered successor.
This particular example has been in the same ownership since 1987 and underwent a comprehensive restoration and V8 conversion in 1999. The car features numerous mechanical and cosmetic upgrades, including an MK3 body kit, performance suspension, and an enhanced braking system, improving perfectly on the TR7's formula with plenty of charisma.
