The Appeal

The joy of a classic Volkswagen is that what the firm started, enthusiasts have the scope to complete. That certainly applies to this tidy Golf convertible, which started life as a 1.6 GLI but has been upgraded to 1.8 GTI running gear and sports a very subtle modified look.

The work was done some years ago but the car remains in very good condition. It is usefully MOT and tax exempt but the vendor reports that there is a long MOt to June 2025 that underlines the solidity.
