Electronic dashboard reported to be in full working order

The Appeal
The Lagonda is a striking, audacious sort of car - just what you'd expect from the daring hand of William Towns. While most of Aston Martin's cars were curvy, subtly-featured things, this was a razor-sharp, wedge-shaped beast with a distinctive grille and pop-up lights. Further accenuating the uniquely futurist character were the advanced electronic instruments, which felt lightyears ahead of the curve back in '81.
This 1981 example, finished in red, has been in the care of its current keeper since 1989 - a tenure spanning some 37 years. With just two former registered keepers before that, this handsome car has clearly experienced a very quiet life. The vendor reports that the electronic dashboard is in full working order, and that the engine starts readily and runs well.
Handsomely finished and ready to go, this Lagonda is a fine proposition that's loaded with character. We've little doubt it'll be a very rewarding classic! OUL_3629-2 Luke Papworth.jpg6.25 MB
