The Appeal
The C107 was the grand touring coupé sibling to the R107 SL, offering S-Class levels of comfort on a longer wheelbase with a fixed roof. Produced only in the final months of the model's run, the 380SLC paired the all-alloy 3.8-litre V8 with Fuchs alloy wheels, only spicing up the rich SL formula that Mercedes-Benz had become so known for.
This particular car has reportedly been well cared for throughout its life. The vendor, a Mercedes-Benz Club member, entered the car at the Club's National Concours in 2021, where it took its class and the award for best interior in show. Finished in Silver Blue over Blue Velour - a period-correct and desirable combination - and equipped with an electric sunroof, four electric windows, and cruise control, this 380SLC should appeal to the touring coupé enthusiast.image.png1.51 MB
