The Appeal
The C123 was something compelling and clever: a sleek and stylish pillarless coupe imbued with all the Teutonic qualities of Mercedes-Benz.
Of the multifold engines available the top 280CE with the M110 six cylinder was the one to have because it delivered the oomph to match the quality and luxury. C123s remain popular with collectors but their sheer usability means they rarely come to market in the condition of this one.
It is a well maintained and specified car with tasteful black over beige trim. The bodywork appears to have been restored a few years ago and the car has covered just 3,000 miles since. Well preserved and useful recently registered as a Historic Vehicle - so tax, MOT and ULEZ exempt - this is a great opportunity to discover one of the perennial W123 range’s finest cars.
