The Appeal

The E30 refined the E21 package with more predictable handling and sharper lines that, as this 316 proves, have stood the test of time. These are durable, reliable cars that make excellent starter classics that can also double as dailies.

This Bronzebeige metallic E30 is a low-mileage car that has passed through just four keepers in its 43 years. Confusingly, but correctly, it is a 316 fitted with the carburettor-fed M10 1.8L engine mated to a desirable 4spd manual box. The condition is tidy and usable for a car of this age, and it retains many original features, including the brown velour interior and radio. It has been lowered and fitted with a set of attractive five-spoke 15-inch alloys.

As a 1983 car, it is now usefully MOT and tax exempt. The car is ready to use, with scope for the buyer to add value as they go.
