The Appeal
Such is the sheer usability of Mercedes-Benz’ relaxing and comfortable R107 that it is always a surprise to discover a very low mileage example like this one.
Its four registered keepers have covered less than 70,000 miles in its 40 years. The condition reflects that sparing use while the vast history file is testament to their fastidiousness.
Finished in rare Labrador Blue with matching hard top and complementary beige interior, this is a very good pre-facelift example of the usefully potent 180bhp 280SL. And just in time for spring too.
