The Appeal
The Land Rover One Ten was the warm-up act for the legendary Defender, taking the familiar Land Rover formula and thoroughly updating it for the new age. This whole new generation of 4x4s was an immediate success. Rugged, utilitarian and durable, they quickly became an able addition to pastoral Britain's trades, and quickly became estate vehicles and farm machinery across the country.
This particular example has benefited from an extensive restoration under previous ownership, documented through a photo album that comes with the vehicle. The current owner has continued to invest in the vehicle's mechanical health, with recent significant work including the replacement of all four tyres, new front brake callipers, and a clutch slave cylinder.
