The Appeal
Of all the track to tarmac road warriors, Audi’s simply named Quattro is surely the greatest. It revolutionised rallying and gave buyers a supercar that was as reliable as it was quick and surefooted.
The early cars got the warbling 10V 5cyl 200bhp turbocharged engine, which grew in capacity to 2.2L in the late 80s. These later cars got luxurious too, gaining leather trim and other luxurious alongside lightly evolved aesthetics.
For understandable reasons, UR Quattros are amongst classic motoring’s most sought-after cars. Values have skyrocketed in recent years. That makes cars like this appealing - ones that can be bought for real-world prices with scope to add value.
Finished in fetching Nile Green with grey leather cabin, this 2.2L 10V has been with the current keeper since 2005. He has used it sparingly and it has been off the road since 2021. The last MOT in 2020 identified various advisories and there are other points for the buyer to note.
For the right buyer, this is a complete and presentable example of a hugely entertaining supercar.
