Alongside its competitive mid-size 3 Series and 5 Series saloons, BMW sought to offer a range-topping grand tourer that would showcase the very best of its considerable engineering prowess. Following the legendary E9 of CSL “Batmobile” fame, the E24 6 Series arrived in 1976 and would remain in production until 1989. Designed by Paul Bracq, the E24’s distinctive “shark-nose” styling pays homage to its Hoffmeister-penned predecessor while a range of powerful six-cylinder engines afforded it excellent performance.
This 1988 635 CSi has recently undergone some restoration and recommissioning work which has been completed to a high standard. It’s a right-hand drive, UK-supplied car with just six former registered keepers. It comes with an advisory-free MOT valid until April 2025, so is ready to enjoy.

✓ The seller of this vehicle is registered as a business seller. And you are covered by Car & Classic’s Terms and Conditions.
✓ We request that a non-refundable fee be paid if you are the lucky winning bidder at auction or if your offer is accepted. Please refer to our helpful FAQs and T&Cs for specific rates.
