In the diverse and complex world of kit cars, Westfield has earned a particularly prominent position over the years, and its cars have long been considered by enthusiasts to be among the best in the industry. Founded in 1982 to build cars inspired by the Lotus Seven - which had meanwhile passed into the hands of Caterham - Westfield chose to use more innovative construction solutions. Thanks to their lightweight fibreglass bodies, more advanced independent rear suspension and enlarged chassis, Westfield established themselves as small sports cars with great capabilities.
