The Appeal
The Land Rover Ninety was the final iteration of the venerable off-roader before the changeover into the Defender nameplate. It was the first taste of the car's latest styling upgrade - boxy and gleefully utilitarian whilst being powered by Rover's much-respected 3.5-litre V8 and remaining reassuringly familiar.
This particular example has been comprehensively restored to a high standard and benefits from significant mechanical upgrades. The original V8 has been uprated to produce 283hp, whilst a brand new uprated gearbox has been fitted to handle the increased performance. With only 1,400 miles reportedly covered since the restoration was completed, this Land Rover presents an opportunity to acquire what is essentially a fresh vehicle with all the hard work already done.
The vendor informs us that the vehicle is in concours standard condition and believes this may well be the best Land Rover 90 V8 in the country. They've clearly cherished this vehicle, never taking it out in the rain and ensuring it has been properly rustproofed for long-term protection. Having been in the same hands since June 2017, it's now ready and waiting for its lucky new keeper.
