The Appeal

Jaguar’s popular XJ-S received a new engine in 1981, known as the HE (high efficiency). It was still a 5.3 litre V12, but received a cleverly redesigned ‘Fire Ball’ combustion chamber in order to improve its efficiency.

This XJ-S is finished in a fetching shade of Signal Red paintwork, which remains in good condition and the Magnolia interior is very good for its age. The vendor informs us that the car has been thoroughly serviced recently, with no expense spared and that the car drives very well indeed.

Overall, this appears to be a very useable example of an XJ-S. And with its rakish convertible roof, it will be great fun to drive come rain or shine.

Car & Classic contrasta il fenomeno dello “sniping”, ovvero il fenomeno dei rilanci all'ultimo secondo per vincere l'asta.

Se viene fatta un'offerta nei 3 minuti prima della chiusura dell'asta, la scadenza di questa viene automaticamente estesa di 2 minuti per permettere agli altri offerenti di reagire e, se lo desiderano, di rilanciare.

Incrementi di offerta automatica

Se la sua offerta massima è uguale o inferiore al prezzo di riserva, la sua offerta massima sarà applicata per intero se lei è il miglior offerente.
