The Appeal
A Peugeot 205 GTi is one of the most entertaining cars to drive from the early 1990s. Remove the roof, and it's even better.
Enter the 205 CTi—the open-topped sibling to the GTi, combining the sharp, agile chassis of the GTi with the pleasure of al fresco motoring. The 205 CTi has earned a devoted following, and good examples are becoming increasingly difficult to find.
This 1990 example is finished in the rare Mayerling Green, a colour offered for only a short window during the model's production and one that lends the car a distinctive period character. It has had just two former registered keepers from new, the second of whom was its custodian since June 2003. The car is accompanied by a history file that evidences consistent, thoughtful maintenance throughout its life.
The vendor describes the overall condition as exceedingly good, noting only minor wear and tear on the driver's seat, and reports that the car drives very well. Significant investment has been made in preserving and improving this 205 CTi, and the vendor considers it one of the more compelling examples to come to market in recent years.image.png1.64 MB
