The Appeal
The 1991 model year was a significant moment in the ‘Classic’ Range Rover’s long and illustrious development. It’s the year when the handling and ride were improved thanks to revised springs and dampers and new front and rear anti roll bars. These models also got cruise as standard and better brakes equipped with ABS.
Alongside those changes, certain colours combinations are sought-after and the Ardennes Green metallic and ‘Teddy Bear’ grey velour of this 3.9L EFI Vogue is definitely one of them. It is a low mileage, low keeper Classic that is in particularly good order thanks to extensive bodywork improvements over the last 18 months addressing key known vulnerable areas. These have included inner and outer rear wheel arches replaced on both sides, front inner wings replaced, outer sills renewed, and the rear boot floor fabricated.
Mechanically, it has received an extensive overhaul covering the ignition system, fuel delivery, cooling, braking, and transmission. The braking system alone has had the master cylinder, slave cylinder, lines, calipers, pads, and discs all renewed. It has been set up using Rover Gauge Diagnostics. It rides on new Toyo tyres mounted to refurbished alloys. With 12 months' MOT, this is a Range Rover Classic that presents well and is ready to be enjoyed.
