The Appeal
For those in search of a svelte coupé that dispatches long-distance journeys with aplomb, the A70 Toyota Supra Turbo would be a fantastic option. The challenge you've got is finding one, but we've taken care of that. You're welcome.
Powered by the 7M-GTE 3.0-litre turbocharged inline six, the A70 Supra Turbo offered straight-line speed and long-distance comfort that few rivals could match. This 1991 example is a limited edition model, distinguished by its striking two-tone livery of silver-flecked red upper bodywork with grey below.
Our car comes with notable provenance. It was voted best 1990s car at the Toyota Enthusiasts Club show in 2001 and went on to feature in Japanese Performance Magazine in 2003, a copy of which accompanies the sale. An extensive history file contains service records dating back to 1991, all MOT certificates from 1997, and receipts for work carried out over the years. The current owner has cherished the car since 2015, using it exclusively on sunny summer days.
Mechanically, the car has benefited from considered upgrades over the years, including work to address known weaknesses of the model. The vendor describes the driving position as the best of any car they have owned across 75 vehicles. With an MOT valid until April 2027, this is a Supra that can be enjoyed straight away.image.png1.66 MB

However, the presence or absence of a label does not guarantee the vehicle’s status and it is always worthwhile carrying out your own full vehicle history check before making an offer on a vehicle.
