The Appeal
The Ferrari 348 TS occupies a fascinating position in the Maranello lineage. As the successor to the beloved 328, it introduced Pininfarina's sharper, more angular styling and a longitudinally mounted 3.4-litre V8 - a significant engineering departure that laid the groundwork for the 355 and beyond. The 'TS' (Targa Spider) variant, with its removable roof panel, offers the best of both worlds: the structural rigidity of the berlinetta with open-air motoring at the driver's discretion. Paired with the iconic gated five-speed manual, it remains one of the most engaging mid-engined Ferraris of its era.
This 1992 example was delivered new in the Netherlands through Ferrari Import Kroymans in Hilversum and has remained Dutch-registered ever since, with no import history. It wears the timeless combination of Rosso Corsa over black Connolly leather and is a confirmed matching-numbers car. Factory options include air conditioning and a Becker Ferrari audio system, while a Ferrari-approved Texalarm alarm was fitted in 1998.
Two major engine-out services were carried out by Garage Helfferich in Wageningen — the first at approximately 30,000 km in 2000 and the second at 44,430 km in 2004. Both encompassed timing belt and tensioner replacement, valve clearance adjustment, seal renewal throughout, oil pump chain tensioner overhaul, air conditioning servicing, and extensive testing. The 2004 service also included preventive modifications to the timing cover and chassis beam to improve future maintenance access. All invoices and workshop reports are retained in the accompanying file.
The car passed its most recent APK in February 2025 with no advisory items, and its mileage history has been verified as logical by the RDW (NAP). It comes with its original Ferrari warranty booklet, owner's manual, technical manual, service booklet, and original Dutch paper registration certificate. The vendor can also assist with worldwide transport and shipping.Ferrari 348 (8).JPG4.1 MB
