THE APPEAL
The first 4X4 version of the Panda, the rational, versatile and friendly small car designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro and launched in 1980, was introduced on the market in 1983, showing off-road capabilities equal to those of much more specialized and powerful off-road vehicles and enjoying lasting success, becoming the car of choice in many mountain communities and a favorite of winter sports enthusiasts.
With a 965 cc inline four-cylinder engine and a strengthened chassis, the very light Panda was equipped with a part-time four-wheel drive system, produced by Austrian Steyr-Puch.
Following the evolution of the Panda range, in 1991 some innovations were introduced in the interior, now more comfortable and refined, on the bodywork, with a large "Panda 4x4" logo imprinted directly on the sheet metal of the tailgate and above all on the mechanics, with the the introduction of the lightweight, advanced and efficient FIRE electronic fuel injected engine, with a displacement of 1108 cc and 50 HP.
Moreover, two famous special versions were launched, the Trekking and the Country Club, with a very refined set-up which includes metallic paint, roof racks and an inclinometer on the dashboard.
This 1992 Panda Country Club in its beautiful original Tasmania Green has lived a dynamic life but has always been well maintained.
It has an intact bodywork and an interior in good condition, with all the special accessories present and in good working order and efficient recently set up mechanics.

Purchased by the seller a few years ago, this Panda has since been kept in his private collection and has been driven only on a few occasions. It has therefore not been MOTd recent years.
However, the car has always been kept in good mechanical condition.

It has Italian documents and can be registered with ASI (Italian Historic Automobiles Registry).
