The Appeal
The Z32 was a shot in the arm for the ZX franchise. After years of recycling the original fastback shape, alongside a drift into GT territory, the new car channelled supercar aesthetics, agility and performance with the usual Nissan commitment to reliability and durability.
These are highly regarded cars, but rare finds on the market. Many have been modified, but not this car, which we’re sure will please purists. It is the one you want, the twin-turbo 300bhp model with Targa roof. It arrived in the UK from Japan in 1999 and has been with the current keeper since 2004. He has looked after it very well, highlights alongside regular maintenance and servicing, including a full respray in Cosmic Black in 2019 and fitting a fruitier Mongoose exhaust with quad exit pipes. Aside from those minor changes - and an Apexi air filter - the car is mechanically as it left the factory.
The car is in good, usable condition with some light cosmetic age. It comes to market with recent service plus attention to the ECUs and a long MOT to April 2026.
The vendor says:
“The car is lovely to drive, she is very quick and nimble despite her weight. She is very powerful and still turns heads to this day. I wanted to keep her looking as original as I could, so I didn't modify the body in any way (apart from replacing the spoiler).”
