The Appeal

This example has been used daily by the vendor as a work vehicle for the last 12 years, and they tell us that it’s been very reliable. With the MOT valid until next January and a robust, tough specification, this would be perfect as a work vehicle, daily runner for anyone that lives in a rural setting or as the basis for a green laning vehicle.

The History and Paperwork

• First registered in 1992
• Imported to the UK in June 2003
• Five owners in the UK
• Current owner since June 2011
• We’re told the car comes with a file of invoices for maintenance, as well as previous MOT documents
• The vendor tells us they have never used the car for towing

The Interior

• Blue velour upholstery appears to be in reasonably good order, other than a small hole in the driver’s seat
• Dark grey carpet throughout is showing some wear and staining
• The headlining appears to be in good condition, with no sagging or damage we could see
• Third row of seats included, but currently not fitted
• Electric windows and door mirrors
• Factory fitted electric sunroof, in good working order
• Sony CD/radio system
• Altimeter and external thermometer
• Intermittent fault reported on the front passenger window
• The vendor tells us that the handles are a little stiff and that the central locking is not working on the front passenger door
• The trim and switchgear all appears to be perfectly serviceable, but with some marks, scuffs and blemishes
• We note that the door card from the rear boot off-side door is missing

The Exterior

• Tough and capable “body on frame” design
• Dark grey-blue paintwork is in poor condition, with a number of marks and blemishes, while the lacquer appears to be peeling significantly on the roof
• Chunky OEM alloy wheels present in pretty good order, with heavy tread all-terrain tyres
• The side trim on the driver’s side appears to be damaged and unattached
• There are a number of areas of corrosion all over the car, along with some dings and dents, but overall the bodywork appears to be solid
