By the 1990s, the Range Rover had positioned itself comfortably upmarket - the definitive SUV for the well-to-do, but it has got there in a rather roundabout way. The Rangie's real power was in the fact it was just so good at going off road, strong enough to pull other vehicles (or a horsebox) and had so much space in the cabin that you could really strap in for long distances.
It was with the arrival of the upmarket Vogue that it really sealed itself into something for the elite - and one of these still feels pretty plush to this day, while offering a more analogue, rugged approach than their modern counterparts. Is it any wonder they're becoming such popular classics?
