The Appeal
Owning a classic Mercedes is something most people only dream of and the 190E is quickly becoming a sought after model, with its solid and comfortable feel and sporty features. The Exterior
- Beautiful glossy paint with exceptionally straight panels
- Front bumper is in need of slight realignment
- AMG wheels are in stunning order with very minor kerbing to one wheel and with good tyres all round
- Black plastic trims are all in good order and very dark with the exception of the nearside front corner needing some attention
- All external lighting in nice condition with no apparent fogging or cracks
The Mechanics
- Unmodified engine bay with an ‘oily rag’ cleaning approach giving a honest finish - Evidence of a recent thermostat housing
- Chassis and sills appear to be in exceptional nick with no excessive surface corrosion apparent
- Large section of the exhaust appears recent with others looking original - All tyres have good tread and are of good quality
The Summary
As the price of fast classic Mercedes is rising rapidly, this is a much more accessible way into the market, having all the glorious looks without hurting the wallet. In beautiful condition aesthetically and mechanically, this Sportline 190E will turn heads wherever it is and will likely be a good future investment.
