The Appeal
Those who know their 911s will appreciate just how special this is.
The Porsche 964 Turbo 3.6 occupies a near-mythical position in the air-cooled 911 hierarchy. Produced for barely two model years and limited to just 1,437 examples worldwide, of which only 159 were right-hand drive, it hails from the final chapter of the original 911 Turbo philosophy: a single large turbocharger, rear-wheel drive, a manual gearbox, and absolutely no electronic safety net. Its successor, the 993 Turbo, moved to twin turbochargers and all-wheel drive, making the 964 Turbo 3.6 the last of a formidable breed.
This right-hand-drive example was delivered new on 29th June 1993 by AFN Chiswick, Porsche's official centre, and is presented in Metallic Black over a Cashmere Beige full leather interior. With 15,898 warranted miles, this is an unrepeatable opportunity to acquire what is quite simply one of the most sought-after air-cooled Porsches ever produced.OUL_8094-2 Luke Papworth.jpg2.27 MB

Sitting on 18-inch three-piece Speedline wheels with wide-body arches and that unmistakable rear spoiler, there's no mistaking this car for anything other than a 911 Turbo. Red-painted callipers hint at the serious hardware behind the wheels, while a genuinely low 15,898 miles suggests a car that's spent more time being cherished than being driven hard. It's a rare thing for a Turbo of this era to have survived so lightly used.
3.6-litre turbocharged flat-six engine (M64/50) producing 360 hp and 384 lb-ft of torque
Single turbocharger
Five-speed manual gearbox
Rear-wheel drive
Most recently serviced by Autofarm in September 2025 at 15,798 miles, including oil service, spark plug replacement, oxygen sensor replacement, and engine management fault diagnosis
MOT emission failure diagnosed and resolved at the September 2025 service
The single-turbo 3.6-litre M64/50 flat-six is the last of its kind before Porsche moved to twin-turbo power, producing a still-potent 360hp and 384 lb-ft through a manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive, the purest, most old-school way to experience 911 Turbo performance. Servicing tells a story of careful, low-mileage ownership rather than neglect: Autofarm's September 2025 work at 15,798 miles covered the oil service, plugs, oxygen sensor, and an MOT emissions fault, while gearbox oil and brake fluid changes in 2018 and 2022 show a car maintained on schedule despite covering so few miles. For anyone chasing an old-school single-turbo 911, this is exactly the kind of history you want to see.OUL_8226-2 Luke Papworth.jpg9.99 MB BEFORE YOU BUY
