The Appeal
The E31 was a statement of intent, a technological tour de force that showcased the innovations that would shortly arrive across BMW’s humbler models. It was as stylish as it was clever, its sleek pillarless profile integrating classic BMW marque details like the shark nose alongside sports car cues such as the pop up headlights.
