The Appeal
Sometimes it is the little things that make all the difference. The 17in AMG ‘Monoblock’ alloys on this smart Imperial Red R129 transform an already crisply styled and handsome convertible into something altogether more purposeful. It works really well.
Beyond those alloys, this 195bhp SL280 is in great condition. It would work well as a summer cruiser or continent-crosser where its practicality, comfort and economy would surely come into their own.
It has been properly looked after too, the service book showing a regular run of attention up to 2024. It has covered less than 50 miles since the last service. There is also the added reassurance of a lengthy, advisory-free MOT to May 2026.
