The Appeal
We’re not sure we’ve seen an MGRV8 hit the market in a long while with quite as meticulous a maintenance history as this one. The car was one of the earliest Japanese-market returnees, arriving back here in 2001, since when it has only been owned by MGOC members. They have maintained the car to a very high level, the work covering several intricately detailed A4 pages from 2001 to 2025.
As you might suspect from that introduction, this car, finished in Woodcote Green with Stone Beige interior, is in very good order. It has covered a documented 55,203 miles from new and has been with the current enthusiast keeper since 2018.
Recent work includes a new fuel tank, pump, battery and steering rack. You can survey the other work in the photos - we recommend preparing a brew and settling in.
Naturally, the car comes to market with a lengthy, advisory-free MOT to May 2026. Although with all that history, perhaps that reassurance is mere icing on the cake.
The RV8 is one of MG’s rarest and most rewarding models. This looks like a really good example. The appropriate private plate is included.
